How can I install a model in my simulator (Example for Easyfly)?
Important: Prerequisite is to have Winzip or Winrar on your PC
At first download the .Zip file of the models you like to have. It is recommended to create an own folder for this (e.g. D:\Download\Easyfly\Aircraft).
After downloading the files, go to the folder where you have stored them and right click onto the desired .ZIP file (I take the piccolo.zip as demonstration).
In the opened context menu choose “extract to folder D:\Download\Easyfly\piccolo”.
After a refresh you should see a new folder “piccolo”.
Go into this folder and mark all files except the “sound” folder (we will come back later to this). Right-click on your marked files and click on “copy” in the context menu.
Now go to your C: Drive into the folder C:\Programs\IPACS\Easyfly\Aircraft. Right-click again and “paste” your copied files. Ok, that was the first step.
Go back to your “piccolo” folder, copy the “piccolo.wav” file in the same way and paste I to the C:\Programs\IPACS\Easyfly\Sound folder.
This works similar with other simulators like Aerofly Pro or Reflex.
Each model should be placed in his own folder.
Examples:
Aerofly folder\Aircraft\ My model
Aerofly folder\Aircraft\ My other model
And so on. Copy all files of a model to the according folder.
Have Fun
