I have made some progress with the *.TMD. The most important:
It flies.
The sliding canopy does work.
It can be seen, that for the first trials I have deleted the landing gear covers.
At first I like to work at the important parts, we will come back to the covers later.
By the way: I have built the F4U as a 2.5 meter model. This is a really nice bird.
The sliding canopy is something new in AFP. I had to build a special mechanism for it. I think I have to overwork it because it still has some unwanted effects.
WOW, the folding wings worked on first trial. It is funny to lift them during flight:).
What we still have to do are the landing gear covers and general tuning.
The propeller is opaque when it is not rotating. AFP does make is slightly transparent in Idle and nearly invisible with full throttle. Then it is just a blurry disk. The yellow tip gives us a nice ring.
Unfortunately this does all not look very nice when we take a screenshot.
The F4U is finished so far. Also the covers are attached and work fine.
There is still one problem:
The folding wings are on channel 20 and they fold after loading. But I want them to stay down at first. Does anybody know how to reverse the starting position of a servo?
