Metasequoia Workshop Part 8:

A Biplane

This workshop is an addition. Therefore copy the first model, rename and load it.

We take the copy of our first model and copy the wing. Move the copy upwards and a little to the front.

Now we create the struts between the wings. Therefore we create a cuboid that is very thin on the X-Axis. This cuboid we cut near the upper and lower end. Then we stretch the upper and lower edges on the Z-Axis. It should look like this:

Next we move the upper points a little forward:

Now yo can place the strut between the wings. Switch on the wings to see them.

Now we adjust the strut in size and position until it fits between the wings. Then mirror it to the other side.

Now we come to the struts from the fuselage to the wings. We take a cuboid and make it very flat on the Y-Axis, then cut it in the top-view. Then mark the outer points and move them upwards (Attention: Both must be moved for the same distance). Adjust and position the strut to the fuselage. It will look like this now:

Our Biplane is finished!
