Bring the Panorama to SIM-size
Here I can only tell you the principle procedure because I don't know which graphics program you use. You might have the following problems:
1. Too less sky 2. Too less ground |
With "Core Photo Paint" I load the panorama into the working window. Then I create an empty picture in the format:
AFP: 6144x2048 pixels XTR: 8160x3060 pixels
Now I copy the panorama photo as an object into the new picture and move it upwards until the "flying horizon" is in the middle.
The lower part I fill with the lower part of the panorma ( you will not recognize this while flying.
The sky is more critical. There I cut-out a part of the sky in the panorama, "mirror" it and place it on the top again. You can distort the new objects a little to avoid recognizing the added parts.
Do this multiple times until the sky looks nice. If you have some experience with graphics processing, you might have some better solutions.
